Beginnings...

I first walked into a Games Workshop little over sixteen months ago which is, I guess, where I began the hobby. Being someone who enjoys a well thought out science fiction background I was immediately lost to the enveloping world that is Warhammer 40k, and left the store with a horde of Space Marines under my arm and a wallet considerably lighter than when I entered.

After assembling and painting my first marines a small part of my brain already knew that I was in trouble, but I paid it no heed because the larger part was basking in the after-glow of how much fun it was to paint something and see it come to life before your very eyes. Which is what has brought me to write this blog.

I am in no way a professional painter, nor am I a Golden Demon winner. What I am is someone who enjoys painting and hopes that anyone reading my blog will enjoy looking at my miniatures, commenting on them so I can learn, and maybe even learn something themselves...
